THE BUILDING AND GROUNDS MINISTRY TEAM

• Maintains the grounds of the church, overseeing the work of the grounds keeping crew and keeping shrubs, trees, and bushes trimmed and groomed.

• Maintains the interior and exterior of the church building, making arrangements for professional services when needed.

• Arranges for the air conditioning and heating systems to be turned on and off at appropriate times.

• Arranges for the church doors to be locked and unlocked at appropriate times.

• Oversees the maintenance of the church playground.

• Oversees the maintenance of the church parking lot and signs.

• Oversees the use and maintenance of the church van. The Building and Grounds ministry team, with approval by the Session, will have the responsibility for making policy decisions concerning church vehicle and will periodically review these policies and guidelines for changes or exceptions when necessary.
